The Learning Challenge 2.0 (a.k.a. TLC 2.0) is an online self-discovery program that encourages the exploration of Web 2.0 tools and new technologies, specifically 23 Things. The program has been set up as part of the NSU Libraries TLC 2.0 project to encourage all library staff to:
Explore a sample of the new technologies that are reshaping how people use the Internet to access information and interact with one another.
Think about how these new technologies could be used to support the NSU Libraries Vision of becoming, per the 2006-2009 Strategic Plan,
· an effective and efficient entity through the use of advanced telecommunications systems and modern technology
· a creative leader and committed steward in providing access to and retrieval of a rich array of information resources
· an active leader in the University’s and Broward County’s lifelong learning endeavor
Collaborate with your colleagues for help and ideas. Web 2.0 is all about sharing ideas and tips, and creating resourceful online communities.
Reward staff who take the initiative to complete the self-discovery exercises.
