Teen Volunteer Info

Any student between the ages of 14-18 is welcome to apply to volunteer for the Public Library Services (PLS) Department of the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center.

Please note that there are a limited number of spaces available and submission of a Teen Volunteer Application does not guarantee a position in the program.

Submit all applications to the PLS Reference Desk, located on the first floor of the library. Applicants will be contacted on a first come, first serve basis by the Teen Volunteer Coordinator to attend an upcoming Teen Volunteer Orientation. If no volunteer positions are currently available, applications will be kept on file for a waiting list. Decisions as to who is accepted into the program are at the discretion of the Teen Volunteer Coordinators.

For more information email novalibraryvolunteers@yahoo.com or call (954) 262-5477.

Go ahead and download the stuff you need here! Both the Teen Volunteer Application & the Teen Volunteer Affidavit need to be completed and turned in to the library in order to become a teen volunteer.
