			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>TAB Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 15 (2:00-4:00 pm)</strong></p>
<p>You must be present at this meeting to run for office and/or vote for officers.  Only current and active TAB members may vote or run for office.</p>
<p>Candidates will briefly campaign at the meeting to introduce themselves.  Then, voting ballots will be distributed and collected, results will be tallied (majority wins the position), and the new officers will be announced at the meeting.  The change of office will take place January 1st. </p>
<p><strong>TAB Offices</strong> (&#038; the minimum requirements / expectations of each position):<br />
•	In general, all officers will be required to attend TAB Meetings<br />
•	All officers are expected to be reliable and committed to their position<br />
•	Candidates may suggest idea possibilities to contribute to the position if elected</p>
<p><strong>President</strong> - An officer appointed or elected to preside over an organized body of persons<br />
Mandatory Duties in TAB:<br />
- Calls meeting to order<br />
- Serves as a discussion leader, introduces topics of discussion to the members and keeps discussions on track</p>
<p><strong>Vice President</strong> - An officer next in rank to a president who serves as president in the president&#8217;s absence<br />
Mandatory Duties in TAB:<br />
      - Assumes the role of the president in his/her absence</p>
<p><strong>Secretary</strong> – An officer who is in charge of the records, correspondence, minutes of meetings, and related affairs of an organization<br />
Mandatory Duties in TAB:<br />
      - Takes detailed notes of each meeting and keeps all meeting notes organized<br />
      - Assists Historian and maintains all records as necessary</p>
<p><strong>Historian</strong> – An officer who writes or compiles a chronological record of events<br />
Mandatory Duties in TAB:<br />
      - Organizes all photos taken at events, identifies participants in photos, keeps track of photo release forms (only photos featuring participants that have all provided a photo release form may be released for others to view)<br />
     - Assists the Secretary and maintains all records as necessary</p>
<p><strong>Treasurer</strong> - An officer in charge of the receipt, care, and disbursement of money<br />
Mandatory Duties in TAB:<br />
      - Keeps record of TAB budget / funds and expenses<br />
      - Keeps record of total funds obtained from fundraisers</p>
