about

What is the Teen Room? Well, actually, it is a brick & mortar space in the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center (ASLRITC) in the Public Library Services Department on the first floor. The ASLRITC is the main library for Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. The Teen Room is a room where middle and high school students can play video games, watch DVDs, eat & drink, hang out, or even do homework. It is open afterschool and on weekends whenever a Teen Room Host is available.

Teen Room Hosts are teen volunteers who have proven they are responsible. They run the Teen Room.

The Teen Room is also this blog, an online extension of the Teen Room and the teens in the library.

The blog is open to all. If you live in Broward County, stop by the library and get a free NSU library card. If you are in middle or high, come hang out in the Teen Room for real.
